Over the last thirty years, the Trust has played an important role in rescuing a wide range of distinctive Norfolk buildings. Several of these are outstandingly important and all of them are irreplaceable.

The Trust maintains regular contact with the District Councils and seeks to support their action to acquire historic buildings in need of repair. Where appropriate the Trust also undertakes feasibility studies for properties on the Historic Buildings at Risk Register.
