This unlisted 19th century building stands in close proximity to Billingford Mill, which is owned by the Norfolk Windmills Trust.

The building was suffering from extensive damp, caused by an inappropriate hard cement render. This was removed during repairs in 1998.

Internally, the walls were lime plastered; and traditional windows and railings were reinstated, based on photographs of the building taken around the beginning of the 20th century.
